Direct Thermal Labels
DT Labels offer high-quality barcode printing for numerous applications. Unlike thermal transfer printing, direct thermal printing does not require a thermal ribbon. Instead, the process uses heat to initiate a chemical reaction within the labels themselves. The image is formed directly on the printed material, making it a more cost-effective solution. DT printing produces sharp print quality with good scanability, making these labels perfect for short-term usage, such as barcodes or shipping labels that don't require resistance to environmental conditions.
Thermal Transfer Labels
Thermal Transfer (TT) labels utilise a ribbon heated by the printhead, which, when melted onto the label, creates the image. The ink is absorbed, ensuring that the image becomes an integral part of the media.
When paired with suitable media, TT technology not only resists heat and moisture but also prevents the image from being rubbed off, making the printed label exceptionally durable. By carefully choosing the right combination of media, ribbon, and specialty adhesive, users can produce archival-quality labels capable of withstanding temperature extremes, scratches, UV exposure, chemicals, sterilisation, and more.

What is a Linerless Label?
Linerless labels are labels that do not have a liner or backing paper. Typically, liners have a release coating that allows the label to peel away easily without damaging the adhesive beneath, ensuring the label can adhere to an object, such as a box.
In contrast, linerless labels feature a silicone release coating on the top layer and a special adhesive that enables them to peel away from labels underneath. The silicone coating allows linerless labels to act essentially as their own liners.
Benefits of Linless Labels:
Linerless labels offer numerous advantages to customers. They increase uptime, reduce the need for roll changes, and minimise storage with up to three-quarters more running meters per roll. Additionally, these labels maintain the same scanning and traceability properties as liner-backed labels while using fewer raw materials.

What are RFID Labels?
RFID labels resemble traditional pressure-sensitive labels, but they come with a unique feature - a UHF RFID transponder or inlay embedded between the facestock and release liner. This inlay incorporates tiny microchips and an antenna, enabling the storage of information and its transmission to specially designed RFID readers. The information is encoded onto the inlay using a dedicated printer-encoder, such as the Printronix Auto ID T6000 printers. Additionally, these labels can be printed with supplementary information, including traditional barcodes, product identification, or shipping details.

Your Cleaning Routine in 4 easy Steps:
Step 1
Use our Cleaning Swabs for interior surfaces of the printer, including the thermal printhead and platen roller. For direct orders, use the reference 36-0000012-00LF Cleaning Swab, 50PK.
Step 2
Use our Cleaning Pens to remove tough residual dirt, ink, and other environmental contaminants from easily accessible printheads. For direct orders, use the reference 36-0000013-00LF Cleaning Pen,12 PK.
Step 3
Use our Pre-Saturated Cleaning Wipes designed for cleaning and sanitising the interior of the printer, as well as the thermal printhead. For direct orders, use the reference 36-0000014-00LF Cleaning Wipe, 50PK.
Step 4
